The Greater Newburyport Children’s Chorus mission is to provide an opportunity for students
to enrich their lives with quality vocal music education, choral performances and
a joyful, lifelong habit of participation in
music and community.
The chorus aims to serve the community through
musical performances and the students will be exposed
to a wide variety of music genres. Through teamwork, friendship and acceptance of young musicians with ethnic, economic and religious diversity, the chorus will provide the participants with a supportive, educational environment that will promote excellence in music learning.

We are a non-auditioned group of community singers in grades K-12. Rehearsal INFO for Fall 2024 Dates/Times/Location/Cost Minuets - (grade K & 1) Tuesdays 5:20 - 6:00 p.m. Juniors - (grades 2 & 3) Tuesdays 4:00 - 5:15 p.m. Middlers - (grades 4-8) Tuesdays 4;00-5:30 p.m. GPS - (grades 9 - 12) Sundays 7:00-8:00 p.m. Rehearsal Location: Hope Church, 11 Hale Street Newburyport MA COST per session: Minuets - $150 Juniors - $275 Middlers - $325 GPS High School - $225 Rehearsals will consist of music & choral theory combined through choral singing Questions about the ensembles? email us: [email protected] . |

GNCC ensembles are made up of local singers in grades K -12 ALL singers are welcome. Our Youngest ensemble, MINUETS, features singers in grades K & 1 Next is our JUNIORS, featuring singers grades 2 & 3 Our Middle school singers, GNCC MIDDLERS, feature singers grades 4 - 8, and finally, for High School age singers, Great Port Sound (GPS), features singers in grades 9 - 12 For more info about all things GNCC, Email us at: [email protected] Payment plans and financial assistance are available.
